Harbour Town Melbourne has commenced it’s $150 million re-development to reinvigorate the Centre. The Centre has already undergone a significant ambient and aesthetic refurbishment to create a comfortable, all-weather retail and entertainment precinct. This has seen the addition of bluestone and timber floors, a weatherproof roof structure and the incorporation of planting and laneway-style greening. The ambience works continue with the Docklands Drive entrances currently seeing significant works to extend the weatherproof roof and add grand entrance doors.

Harbour Town Melbourne has also commenced construction on the exciting new Entertainment Precinct. The Entertainment Precinct is set to become one of Melbourne’s most exciting and complete entertainment destinations with a number of key brands set to open with HOYTS in 2018. Brands include FunLab and first to Melbourne dining experiences 8Eight Street - an Asian hawker-style restaurant, and pancake house - Route66 along with a number of other food and beverage offerings.

Docklands Drive Entrances

The Docklands Drive Wharf Street Entrance to the Centre is currently under construction. A temporary entrance has been set up to the side of the original entrance. Please observe entrance signs for directions. Temporary entrance is wheelchair accessible.

The Docklands Drive Wharf Street entrances is due for completion in October 2017.

The Docklands Drive Star Crescent Entrance to the Centre is now open. The escalator to level 1 is also up and running for easy access to Toyworld, Brickman Experience, Giraffe Early Learning, ArtVo Immersive Gallery, Dialogue in the Dark, more retailers, entertainment and restaurants. Alternatively the escalators next to KFC can be used for access.

Studio Lane

Studio Lane is currently closed in between Wharf Street and Pearl River Road. Retailers originally located on Studio Lane have been relocated to either Wharf Street and/or Star Crescent. To travel between Wharf Street and Star Crescent please use The Arcade or Star Circus Food Court, adjacent the Melbourne Star or Docklands Drive.

Studio Lane works are due for completion in late October 2017.

Entertainment Precinct

The Entertainment Precinct construction has commenced on the corner of Pearl River Road and Observation Drive. Access between O’Brien Group Arena and Melbourne Star Observation Wheel is currently restricted. Please observe pedestrian signs and cross where safe to do so.

The Entertainment Precinct is due for completion in late 2018.
