Harbour Town Christmas Gifts Amnesty |
|
Last year, Australians received more than $750 million worth of gifts that they didn’t want. Most people either stuck them in a cupboard, gave them away, sold them on the internet or “regifted” them.
This year, Harbour Town and St Vincent de Paul Society are giving you the opportunity to put your unwanted gifts to good use and help people in need.
From December 26th, you can bring in your unwanted Christmas gifts to Harbour Town’s customer service lounge and St Vincent de Paul Society will collect and distribute them to those who are disadvantaged or sell them to raise funds for its worthwhile programs.
We will accept pretty much any material donation as long as it is in good condition. We welcome the donation of household goods, clothing, toys, furniture books and more. Due to safety regulations, we are unable to accept any electrical items.
Unwanted gifts can be dropped off at Harbour Town during trading hours, seven days a week at the customer service lounge. Click here for a map.
